Work In Progress

This is what the beginnings of my paintings look like nowadays.  Watch as I shift the features around bit by bit until I (hopefully) achieve a correctly proportioned finish.  I can do this with little mess because I cheat with a computer.  Usually this works.

Maybe I should update the blog like this, instead of rushing a new 'finished' picture a day.  On the other hand, the spontaneity of such a picture can make some surprising creations.  What do you guys think?

In any case, some may have thought I could just take a photo and trace over it to make my drawings; I could but that'd be dumb (impeccable imitation is not really my aim) and I don't, and I hope that what I'm doing now is a good demonstration of that.
